Hello All,
Here is a simple trick to remove the write protected Error from Portable/Removable Storage.
Many times it is observed when we try to copy/paste the data from USB to windows & vice versa. Windows gives write protected Error.
To perform the trick you require Admin privilege on the system.
1. First open the registry by typing "Regedit" command on CMD.
2. Go to below path highlighted as shown on below image.

This might be reason of virus infection or Corporate policy.
To perform the trick you require Admin privilege on the system.
1. First open the registry by typing "Regedit" command on CMD.
2. Go to below path highlighted as shown on below image.
Change the value of WriteProtect from 1 to 0 to disable the WriteProtect.To enable it make it 0 (zero).
Its Done!!!!!!!
